You should definitely not try and powdercoat them youself, that requires a very hot oven, not to mention some decent know how/experience.
Also, one think you should bear in mind, is that once a wheel has been heated to that temperature, it CAN compromise the sturdiness of the wheel. It's rare as long as you pay an experienced guy (or girl for that matter) to do the job, but I've seen guys break wheels at track days because they were weakened during the powdercoating process.
Like I said, it's rare, but it CAN happen.. So do some research on the people who will be doing the job, and make sure they do good work
EDIT: And I must say, judging by that chop, you're car will look sick once the job is done

hey guys, sorry to bring up such an old thread, but i called around and found out that once place does PC for about 35 per rim but they only do black(no silver lip). and another place does the silver lip but its about 65 and i dont have 260 bucks to spend.... should i get them now and all black? or should i wait till i can afford the silver lip?
