Exclamation Just starting work on the car

I have a 95 civic DX. A while ago a lil old lady flew her pontiac thunderbird into my baby and gave her a boo-boo. I'm gonna get it fixed but here's pix.

Here's what's already inside the car...
10 in sub w 1,200 amp kicker
kenwood 6x9's, tweeders, radio and door speakers

-fog lights
-alarm system
-turn sigs on side mirrors
-new muffler (suggestions?)
- switch to LED lights on the panel where the spedometer and fuel gages are

its an automatic trans if that makes a difference.
Nd u see that rubber crap peeling on the window molding?.. can i scrape it off with a wool scrubber? and how difficult is it to pull out the alarm that's already on there? It was cheap.. like 50bucks but served its purpose for 3yrs till it died. Just has a blue led light that blinks when its on and is attached to cylinoids that unlock the two front doors.

Okay, here's my suggestions. Since you already have to replace the bumper, hood, a fender, and a headlight, have you thought about swapping to a 2/3dr bumper? Personally, I think it looks a ton cleaner than the 4dr bumper, and the OEM fog lights look better for coupes than they do for sedans. Also, (again, this is my opinion) I think the coupe/hatch bumper looks better than the sedan bumper with a front lip; the sedan bumper just kind of looks awkward with a lip.

Personally, I'd swap the transmission to a 5-speed, but that's just me. It's not a hard swap, and isn't terribly expensive (compared to things like engine swaps anyway). Also, a set of lowering springs and aftermarket struts would be a good addition to the car.

As far as a functional spoiler, the only function the OEM spoilers serve is to reduce road noise in the cabin. Also, there is an OEM spoiler for 5th gen ('92-'95) civics available.

at least its nothing too big to fix. maybe you should add a lip kit or just the front lip to your list.

Nice! I used to have a 92 4dr. Decent car. Good luck with the front end fix. I also recommend switching to the other style front bumper and adding a lip kit to your to do list.

That's a nice sized dent in the quarter panel. Have you tried popping it out yet? On that one, you might be able to just push most of it out from in the trunk. That, or you can park it in the sun, wait until the hottest part of the day, get some of that canned air, flip the can upside down, and try the old paintless dent removal trick.

I like the idea of the coupe bumpers.. The fog lights do actually look better..
Are there any modifications necessary to swap the bumpers?

Anyone know any quality sites that sell OEM spoilers?
I want one with the brake light in it.
I'm searching local junkyards too.
Look for new pics in about 2-3 weeks

Honestly, hit up your nearest junk yard. 5th gens are usually a dime a dozen. All you have to do is yank 4 bolts and pull the wires through to get yourself a cheap OEM spoiler. And if you can get it to fit in your pocket...

Yeah, just kidding. Ebay might have a few people parting out Civics. Your local Craigslist might turn up a few.
