TO-MOD LIST & HP GAIN?

just need a general idea of cost for mods, and hp i can expect?

 

A nice intake will run about $200-$300 and give you around 5hp

A nice header will be about $300 and give you closer to 10hp

A decent exhaust system is about $400 (up to $700 sometimes) is good for about 5ish also.

If you run Forced induction then I'd atleast double all of the HP gains...

 

That's pretty much the basic idea. I'd say not to take the route most new civic owners take by gettin I/H/E, but just start saving up for F/I right now. The sooner the better.

Haha. No, FI stands for forced induction, otherwise known as super- or turbocharging.

Well, actually, I didn't want to detract from what appears to be a bad case of SSC (Supercharger Superiority Complex) around here.... It's kind of the same thing as letting the handicapped kids go to the front of the line at the zoo.

And as for the discussion, we pretty much locked that down when I got a little backup...

But yeah, I'm just messing around too... no worries!
