ok today I took my car to the honda dealer because my car is making a clicking sound from the front passengers side when I take off and when I slow down, I have no clue what it is and they told me today after 2 mechanics took it for a drive they didn't hear anything. then they told my my bushing on on eof my struts is worn out and making a squeek sound all the time but the car never squeeks at all. and plus they told my my stablizers link bushing ar worn out the total repair cost on the quote was 188 bucks I told then no don't do the work. The week before that when I made the appointment they said th eroad test was free of charge they charged me 26 bucks to pretty much joy ride my car and burn my gas. I was not very impressed my car only has 70,000kms on it I don't even think the stabalizers bushing would be worn out. All I hav eto say is I left them I real nice hefty amount of ruber around there lot. Man dealers are idiots

like for my 96gmc jimmy... had a wierd transmition shift from 1-2 and 2-3 and alittle in 3-4th gears shiften...
they said it needed a full tune up, knock sensor, computer reprogram...... ok well i did all the tune up myself and just paid them to replace the knock sensor and computer reprogram... and do you know what thier first bill was for???? 1,200bucks! i still paid 100/diagnos fee 90/reprogram fee, 120/knock sensor......
and i was fine with paying for the small things to be done cause i trusted they knew what they where doing....
well the SH*T HIT THE FANS (YES MULTIPLE FANS) WHEN I GO OUT THIER TO PICKUP MY TRUCK AND THEY GUYS SAYS "HOPE ITS FIXED FOR YOU" O HELL NO HE DIDNT JUST SAY HOPE!!!!!!!!!
they never test drove my truck before or after they did all that work! and yep your right they didnt even touch the real problem!!!!!!
if the computer doesnt tell them what to do they MAKE UP STUFF to bill you for!!!!!
i wouldnt have paid em a dime to test drive my car!


turned out for my jimmy i took it to a tranny specialist shop paid 90bucks to have the tranny diagnosed and filter fluid changed, even tho i just changed everything myself BUT they did fix the broken trany bolt on the cover that i broke FOR FREE
and he said thier was nothing mechanicaly wrong with it and he advised me to go to this place right down the road where they send all thier work they dont do to.
and get this... small 3 car garage shop, tiny lobby, tiny 12inch TV.LOL and i love it TINY BILL AS WELL.... 65bucks to diagnos... found the problem within 45mins... and it was a SIMPLE 65dollar sensor that was telling the computer to shift funny! i didnt have the part replaced just yet but at least i knew what it was.. he even reset the computer fields so the jerking wasnt that bad NO COST until i had enough for the part... if i woulda had the money then he wouldnt have charged me for the labor to put it on.. but it was only 65buck an hour labor so its all good!

AND both shops took the truck out for a test drive before and after!

moral of the story..... TELL YOUR DEALER TO GO F*** himself and go try to rip off that little old lady out in the lobby she will fall for it!!!!!!!!!


after my dealings with the stealerships ill never go to them even again unless its a brand new car and under full warente AND i get a free rental car! other wise im all for the little guys shop!!!!!!! ask around other shops and customers how does the best work in that area for your needs.

 

exactly they don't know **** I hate it my machanic from the used carlot I bought it from has a better guy then they do they only work on imports they do good job too there is one guy in our city that can get anythin gfrom japan he is from ther eof course he has liek 3 skylines in his warehouse and everything he hangs aroudn ther ealot if you want somethin ghe can get it anything I mean anything

 

I dont know, I feel good at the Honda dealer here, they seem to know their stuff.
