You might be right, found one on ebay for $1825 shipped. Well now I know what direction I am going to head in I can start looking around.

Deff shop around cuz 3700 seems very expensive for one out of a junkyard if it were brand spanking new yes maybe but it's not.

y not stick with a d16z6 or jdm d15b? for that much money u can fix up one of these motors and have more HP than a B-series motor stock. i seen a d16z6 with 700HP. i have z6 and i'm plannin to get it up to 350-400HP.

he might not want to build and turbo and tune a D (like me and you)
thats why i suggested a GSR (especially since they easily mount in a EK)

yeah, I'm not looking to be the fastest at the track or anything, I just want a fun to drive car that doesn't get stomped on by old ladies in Prius' The GSR swap is exactly what I am looking for, not too time consuming (at least it doesn't look that way from the links Hamorhead posted) and not going to cost an arm and a leg. Just the stock motor swap will give me 70+ HP over what I have now and like Hamorhead said in a earlier post, there is still room to improve on the stock swapped motor. I had a FOX body mustang years ago that became a nightmare that needed tuning everytime I turned the key. It was fun, but way more time consuming than I can manage these days.
