Default 07 Civic gauge backlight problem

07 Civic LX auto

When I hit a bump or sometimes randomly the backlight on the fuel gauge goes out and the indicator bar will invert. For example if I have 3/4 tank and the backlight goes out then it will show the opposite (1/4).

Found a vid on youtube showing this same problem but on the engine temp side of the cluster and there was no solution posted.

Attached pic is from the vid showing the engine temp. I will post a pic of mine the next time it does it.

I can usually push on the face of the gauge and it will come back.

So is this a bad LED or the entire cluster going bad?

Thanks.
