2000 civic ex cel codes(iacv and others)
CEL is not on, but after a diagnostics scan i got
P1399
P1259
P1509
I know what they all are, is it possible that the first two have anything to do with the iacv code?
The iacv is getting power to the harness, and when I unplug it, it runs worse than when it's plugged in, yet the idle is still ****... And the car just doesn't shift right. It will die rolling up to stop signs if I'm not gassing. Whyyyy?
And, I don't know if this information is worth anything, but; there are two iacv's on my throttle body. One for a manual transmission, and one for an auto transmission. The manual tranny one isn't hooked up, just bolted into the intake, I don't think it's hurting anything. I bought this car as it is.
It is stock besides an aftermarket air filter, and supposuvely had some trany work done.
I think the misfiring cylinders code has something to do with the iacv or the fact that I unplugged the cruise control line to get increased airflow to the intake, so the car doesn't die. I know it's bad for the engine, but you gotta do what you gotta do

Sorry, just tryin to get this thing figured out.
I learned that I have a y8 engine, y8 intake manifold, and y7 throttle body with both types of iacv. The iacv harness is wired to 3 prong. I'm not sure what my ecu is. Possible ecu repin needed?
