Default '99 Civic Si CEL Codes

Hi everyone,

On my way into work today my Check Engine Light came on but the car never entered limp mode. I came here hoping to find a way to check it myself, which I did thanks to the General Tech Help sticky. The only thing I was wondering is if this is still going to work for a 99 because the info(for the codes)from C-Speedracing.com says 86-98 Civic's. Is there a different way to check for 99's or am I SOL andI need to take it in?

Thanks,
Matt

The jumper wire method should work fine for your 99 Civic. Here's an additional helpful CEL link:

In some cases, however, you will get more information by retrieving the code using a scan tool. Some auto parts stores, for example AutoZone, offer this scan tool service for free.
