d17a2 manual to auto swap question
Hi all,
I have a 2003 civic ex auto with a blown motor and i Just found a 03 civic ex manual dirt cheap with low miles. I was going to buy the manual motor and put it in my auto car with my auto trans. The seller said I just bolt on my flex plate instead of his flywheel and that is the only difference. Is this true? Ive been trying to research and it looks like on older models some manuals don't have an EGR. i could not find any definitive answers. any advice would be greatly appreciated as Im very eager to get my civic back on the road, I don't want to buy the wrong engine and cause more problems, I just want an easy swap.
Thank you so much!!!!
