friends car stolen recovered now missing something

Default friends car stolen recovered now missing something

so my co workers car was stolen recovered and now issues as you can assume there is something missing and we dont know what its called its below the steering wheel to the left and is held on by a bracket i just need to know what this missing piece is. Thanks in advance.

Thats the fuse box for all your dash controls.

Not sure what year your car is, but it should look something like this:



You also need the correct cover, it will tell you every fuse and its position:

Ok that's what I thought doing some googling but he insists that he has te fuse panel box I'll have to take a look myself it's a 2000 btw

Looks like his aftermarket alarm didn't save the car from getting stolen...

Ok he says te fuse box is mounted up by the top of te clutch lever and needs to know where all the dangling wires plug into us there a under the dash junction box in this area?

Most if not all of those wires look like aftermarket stuff. Does the car run?

Agreed, it all looks to be a rat's nest of wiring for an aftermarket alarm. Of which, the car thieves likely pulled out the alarm control box and tossed it out the window and left the wires dangle.

k ill ask but he did have an alarm and no the car doesnt start or anything

+1 on an aftermarket alarm system. I have the same rats nest of wires on mine. But hey, whatever it takes to make it harder to steal.

They typically mount the control box on top of that metal bolster panel. Without the control box, the modified wiring harness won't work. Either get a new alarm or try to put it back to stock?
