You can save on labor cost though by taking the knuckle off of the car yourself and taking just that part to a shop to have the bearing replaced.

You will save on the labor costs since the mechanic doesn't need to take the time to remove the knuckles.

I would say pulling/reinstalling yourself will save at least 2 hours. The amount you save is based on the hourly rate the shop charges.

hey guys. sorry for the long wait. i been tied up. so im deciding to take the car into the shop to get the bearings done.

when i spoke to the mechanic he recomended that i also did the wheel hub/ (flange he calls)

Now... im bringing him the parts so what i decide goes.

do you guys think this is worth doing? i cant find the part for anything under 100 bucks or so.

if you guys can let me know if this is worth doing and if so; any place online i can find them for cheaper (new)

THanks guys

Not sure why he suggests replacing that, but that is up to you. The bearing is shot and the hub is making the noise due to the bearing being toast.

You can always try to find something at an online Honda dealer like hondapartsdeals.com. They are a dealership base in Rhode Island or something like that.
