Default 1992 CIVIC TEST JUMPER LOCATION

I am trying to troubleshoot a 1992 Honda Civic 1.5liter 5 speed manual. I just replaced the ECU and now the check engine light remains on after the engine is running. I was told to place a jumper wire into a connector underneath the passanger side dash. When I look underneath the dash I find two connectors that are in a green rubber piece. Neither of these connectors are connected to anything. Which of these connectors do I use to find out the malunction codes?

Thanks in advance.

Welcome to HCF.

There are two bundles tucked up under there, and you are right, they aren't connected to anything. It's weird, I know. The one you want is the two-pin one. The one on the right in the pic.
