Default Paperclip in the jumper?

ORIGINAL: Forty04

You can't just adjust that screw, follow the manual for setting idle.

Paperclip in the jumper by the ecu
Pull the plug on the IACV
Start car (will probably run crappy)
Adjust Idle screw until RPMs reach ~450
Shut off car
Plug in IACV
Pull paper clip out of jumper
Start car, should idle around ~650ish

keep in mind this is for 92-00 SOHC vtec motors, numbers will vary for DOHC, non-vtec, etc

Trying to adjust my idle screw...What does Forty04 mean by "paperclip in the jumper by the ecu"?

The ECU jumper under the dash. The 2 plastic adapters need to be connected, thus a paperclip will work. Theyre under the passenger side dash.

Anyone have a picture? I'm assuming you're talking about the kick panel where the ECU resides. What exactly am I supposed to be connecting together?

It's in the kick panel up above the ECU. It's a blue two pin jumper plug. Put one end of the paperclip in each "port" on the plug so that you're connecting the two sides of the plug.
