Default Brakes

I live in Alaska so buying a body kit or lowering my car would be a no no. Plus, rims and tires would be bad also cause these roads suck ***. Im gonna buy some awesome brakes and I need to know what is pretty good. I looked at brembo but they don't have the prices on their web-site. hit me up and let me know whats good!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know that Brembo makes good brakes, but they are also one of the most expensive out there. You could also get all the parts needed from an integra if you wanna go cheaply.

wildwood makes big brakes. So does Tenzo R. Keep in mind that when u put those brakes on, they usually require at least a 16 inch wheel, cuz the rotors are so damn big.

Yes, that's a good point, pcupo. I had a buddy that put on a big brake kit, only to find his 16" wheels hit the calipers, then had to buy 17" wheels.

dude i went with brembo all around on my 98lx did a rear disc conversion i bought brembo at www.pepboys.com shipped right to the house they were like 150 bucks or so and i got 2 rotors and mounting screw so end up paying 300 for all four and there cross drilled.

But i was driving in town doing like 40-45mph stupid dump truck man decides its time to pull right out in front of me i slammed on the brakes i immediately stopped and the tires starting squealing, good thing i didnt slam into the dump truck and definately worth the money i spent 4disc saved me from that accident but if you do go with 4 disc conversion get stainless steel lines i dont have that spoungy feel with rubber lines

Even though you say that you don't want to lower your car, I think you would be satisfied with even just getting a new suspension setup. You can get a good suspension for better handling and maneuverability, without lowering your car all that much maybe an inch. You should do the thinker on that ish.
