Hello guys,
Greetings from Romania,far away from U.S.A but hey,HONDA brings all of us in the same place
I own a EG6 civic,1992 with b16a2 engine,160 hp
Here,in Romania,you don't see a Honda too often on the street,but we are a 'closed' group and we know each others,we share our experience with parts,or installs,we race often,go to the track.
I've rebuilded the motor with stock parts,because i had some bad compression numbers,now it's great,but first i was pretty scared because mecanics don't see often a b16 engine over here,but the rebuild is fine,the motor pulls harder now,even after 10.000 miles.
I've honed the block to 81.50mm,got new oem pistons,rings,full kit of gaskets,all the bearings,valves bearings,and cleaned head and valves.
I have some minor bolt-ons like :
Invidia cat-back
TenzoR sport cat
TSS Cold air intake
FCC stage 1 clutch
Superchips ICON RACE ( ingition and timing modulator )
Custom made suspension,about 100mm lower than stock
OZ ultralegerra and some cheapo tyres right now
The g-tech and drag strip is saying 14.4 - 14.7 on 1/4 mile and about 95 speed trap.
There are some minor mods that i've planed to make in the next 2 weeks.
4-1 race header with insulating wrap
Hondata mani gasket
Port and Polish head
Race head gasket,rises the compression to about 10.7
Some software ( the piggyback that i have right now it's ok but an unichip or just rechip and tune on the dyno would be better i think )
