Default Hello Everyone!

whats up everyone, i had a question, im getting ready to buy my first civic so i can build it up a bit and still have a sweet daily driver.
my question is, i was looking at a 1998 Civic EX stock. i was wondering if this motor is DOHC? i belive it is Vtec im just very new to hondas and im getting out of the mitsubishi world since my Tranny in my GSX took a dump. im currently driving a very not fun mitsubishi mirage hatch.

so any years or trims you all reccomend? i was digging the fact that the ex has a tach and what seems to be more features all around.

please advise.

and again its great to be here.

thanks,

Shade.

Welcome! Unfortunatly, no the 1998 features the D16Y8 SOHC VTEC motor.

I would personally recc, a 99-00 civic Si, that is DOHC
