Default Help with stolen electrical part...

Hi everyone, looking for a little information to get me 1995 Civic Si 1.6 running again.

Over Xmas the Civic was parked for a couple of days and was broken into (via slimjim so thankfully no body damage). Some electrical components were stolen, the car cranks but will not start. Under the glovebox I noticed a metal plate about 4"x4" with part of the electrical harness attached to it hanging down. The plate was behind the carpet that goes vertically between the passenger front wheel well and the passenger door hinge area. The plate protected whatever components were ripped off, there are 3 connectors for something.

I checked out under the rest of the dash and under the hood which seem untouched. Any help anyone can give this noob identifying the missing parts would be greatly appreciated!

yup...it was the ECU...aftermarket ones usually run about a grand. If you can grab one from ebay or something for your car it might run around a hundred or so. At least thats what the d16y8 ecu runs at that i found. Since Misha says its what everybody wants, it may cost you more than that so dont quote my price.

I don't know current prices on them, you can always look on ebay or check with your local junk yard. And I don't think they are going to cost much more than $100.
