Default Hey and could use some help!!!

Whatsup everyone! just bought my car 99 civic EX and i already took it on a little road trip from Colorado Springs, CO (where i live) to SLC, UT and i gotta say i love this car. But i do have a question that i hope someone can answer. Thanks for the answers!!

1) If you had 500$ what would be the first thing(s) you would buy? (strictly performance)

Also any small bits of wisdom would be awesome, since this is my first ever honda, thanks!

500 bucks, probably a good exhaust system because no matter how much power your have under the hood, if it doesnt have a good release then its worthless

the probably and air intake ..... not sure ..... might have to ask someone else on that question

but any way im glad you like the car and welcome

For $500 i would get a rear disc conversion and strut braces. If there was money left over sway bars.

Intake, Headers, then Exhaust. That the jumping off point.

Do you want Speed Performance or Handling performance............

Lowering springs will give you a nice tight ride in the corners about 500 dollars installed.

rigth now i'm looking for speed performance because IMO the handling is pretty good now i think the car just need a little bit more accelaration and top speed.

Well the best bang for your buck is Nitrous(50Shot) thats no secret, you can get a kit for about 600 dollars, even cheaper used but I take it this is your daily driver too. so I dont think you want to blow your ride, because once you start juicing youll want more and more and more............................Go the Intake, Exhaust ,header route for now There are plenty of posts around here with good product reviews. Good luck and save your money

Thanks man i think thats what i'll do i've been searchin on these forums and can tell that the general consensus is that AEM CAI is the best and actually found a pretty good deal

http://performance.drivewire.com/getparts/index.aspx?pdef=Cold%20Air%20Intake|Honda|CIVIC|19 99|EX|||||Air%20Intake

(For some reason you have to copy and paste the entire link into the address bar to get there)
I just posted a topic on the intake section seeing if anyone has bought from these guys. haha yeah this car is my DD so i think i might hold off on the nitrous no matter how much fun it seems haha thanks again for all the help
