Ok Ok fine....nothing special yet, but it keeps me sane.

$400 civic's first initial problems from day one:

Pass fender smashed in

^Thank you Josh

Front bumber hanging off

Blown head gasket

Most of the mounting nuts for the intake mani and throttle body were hand loose.
Three cracked valves were found when I pulled the head to work on it.(will have pics soon.)
Three mounting studs were snapped off of the exhaust manifold side of the head.

Intake assembly missing some bits and pieces

Automatic civic with a Manual throttle body.
Dry rotted rad hoses

Brake pads in front are completely shot, no meat what so ever on them(Literally)
As I type this Im realizing my pics I saved on my PC.........didn't save

Both caliper piston seals and mounting boots were completely destroyed

^after cleaned up and awaiting seals and boots

^after seals, pads, and boots.

All oil pan bolts and nuts were hand loose with one nut missing. Gotta take it off anyways so lets clean this green love out.

I will have more pics of the completed jobs with in a week or so. Still waiting on parts. We are also porting and polishing the head...for fun lol.

Does anyone know where I can get the intake manifold ported and polished? Or maybe know where I can get extensions so i can do it myself?

It's okay to post full size pictures. Hopefully no one is on 56k anymore.

Is this gonna be just a daily driver fixed up a little or are you going to do some appearance mods too? If so, you may want to start a project thread.

Are the clickable thumbnails not good? I can change it if you want.

My main goal right now is to have a reliable DD and have fun doing it. Im predicting by the time im done...ill be broke lol...So here and there parts....will come here and there after the car is running..

Could I use this thread as a project thread? Or should I start a new one...and where.

I would start a new one (thread) in the project section.

If you are using photobucket, just use the [img] code and that will be perfect.

Welcome to the forum!
