Hey I'm brand new to the import scene. Just bought my second car ever and its a bright red 2005 Civic Coupe. After my Jeep its a lot of fun. I believe its the lowest model of that year just because it really doesn't have anything extra. It has 150,000 miles on it and rides great. My only complaint is that its an auto but there has to be a way to increase the acceleration speed on it.

So in conclusion if you guys could give me any advice on what i should do to it just let me know.

Welcome to the forum.

Here's the thing...

01-05 Civics (non SI's) do not respond to bolt on modifications that well. Intake, header, and exhaust will get you about 5-10 hp at most. Nothing noticeable.

Also, your auto trans really can't take much more than the stock rated power. If you added say 50 hp (somehow), I would expect to see the life of the transmission reduced drastically.

Lastly, as a general rule, D series can only make respectable power if they are boosted (again the 01-05 Civics are not supported that much), or swapped (and with your 01-05, K series swap is the only thing you can do).

I don't mean to be a mood killer, but you will not get any decent power gains unless you boost and swap to manual, or swap the motor (and swap to manual at the same time).
