^dito... if ya blew a fuse after installing the fog lights you didnt tie the power from the right spot... for anything aftermarket its highly suggested that you take the power right off the battery BUT you fuse that power wire right next to the power source! if you fail to fuse the power wire you can loose your whole car to a huge fireball if you dont!!!!! dont get lazy or cheap. a inline fuse is only about 5bucks tops!

i try not to power anything but afew small things from the fuse box inside the car. for anything that sucks a good amount of juice i get power from the battery.
