removing AC

I work for a heating and cooling co. I can vacuum, charge, and all that. I just have no clue how A/C goes in a car, just houses!

+1 on fixing the AC. It might be a lot easier then you think.

Grab the ac clutch by hand and turn it a couple times. Does it turn without much resistance? If so, the compressor is probably fine and it's a pretty easy fix.

If you want to save the 10+ lbs of the compressor, simply keep your washer jug only about 1/4 full.

Just about every used car I ever bought, I end up fixing the AC on and MF'ing the previous owner for ripping parts off it.

i did a/c in a 92 civic and it was easy . you have to get the wiring which i just pulled out of a car at a junk yard everyhitng else is basicly bolt on and go really easy
