Default Old New Ride

I'm lookin to buy a second car, gas for the truck is killin me.
Basically I'm lookin to buy a older civic for bout 5k.
I found a 94 si with 135000km bout 84000 miles.
dont seem like many miles is there anything with these years I shud be aware of
does a 94 si take premium fuel?
Do any SI's take premium?
Does the SI engine have same long life of the regular engine?
Are there more maint items on a VTEC compared to a non vtec ?
What enginegets best real world gas milage vtec or non vtec looks like bout same on fueleconomydotgov.

Also I could pick up a way newer 2000 for bout same price but has 200000km's
this oneit isa cx.
I think the Si may be a better funner deal

Any tips would be great for now I will surf the forums and surf for deals

thanks

are you in canada? if so the si is our ex and they are very good fuel savers, they dont need premium fuel. If its an sir then you need premium fuel and it uses more gas, but is a lot faster
