auto/manual...big dif?
Less "smart" parts translates into less cost, less chance of $hit braking... Get a manual, you'll love it. I learned on a 1.3 ford escort wagon which I borrowed from a friend *hint*. It's easy and gets to a point where it's automatic:-D
i think you will be 3 or 4 hundred pounds lighter.... big difference.
well, with that kind of weight what kind of tranny are you sporting, a semi truck tranny?
jk
actually I think its like a 50-60 lb difference.

Manual's are SO much more fun to drive.
I learned to drive on a stick, and I have never even considered using an auto.
In fact, the only time i ever drove an auto was when I borrowed a friends car. (stupid floor mounted parking brake)
Get a manual i have owned 2 autos and 2 manuals(currently driving my second manual) and i love manuals. When i wreaked my first manual car and i had to start driving my winter beater with an auto, it nearly drove me insane. A 300ZX Twin Turbo 5-speed to a Ford Tempo auto will drive anybody insane though.
