Hey guys (and girls), I'm obviously new to this forum. I don't own a Civic, but I'm looking into buying one as I'm selling my '92 SHO. I figured one is enough and the other one has way too much of my time and money to sell. I'm looking at a post '97 EX to replace my current daily driver. For once, I'm not looking to really modify the car as I'm tired of having a daily driver I have to work on. My 'fun' car is a supercharged SHO pushing 460 hp. I tracked it at a road course last week pretty hard and spun a rod bearing. I new I needed oil cooling, but this just gives me a reason to build a low compression 3.2L motor and up the boost :)

I've thought about headers as they're pretty cheap, but then there's a trade-off of some added noise. Brakes and suspension may be upgraded for the fact I like a car that can stop and handle well. I'm not looking to do any of this as soon as I get the car, but it's in the back of my mind. The lack of power may keep me out of trouble too :)

I'm sure I'll have many vehicle specific questions in the near future, but are there any good Civic sites for this?

I have a change in plans... I was supposed to go pick up my Civic in two weeks, now it looks like I'm leaving on Sunday to go get it! I'm very excited. To be honest, I never thought I'd be so excited about a Civic. When priorities and times change, so do I, I guess.

You're right, I've already got a stereo to put in it and some Hawk HPS brake pads. That's it... It's a Civic with 24,000 miles and I dont' want to touch the thing. Plus, I've already got a car money just sinks into.

yeah but civics are just so much fun to drive!
