Default New guy....

Hey guys (and girls), I'm obviously new to this forum. I don't own a Civic, but I'm looking into buying one as I'm selling my '92 SHO. I figured one is enough and the other one has way too much of my time and money to sell. I'm looking at a post '97 EX to replace my current daily driver. For once, I'm not looking to really modify the car as I'm tired of having a daily driver I have to work on. My 'fun' car is a supercharged SHO pushing 460 hp. I tracked it at a road course last week pretty hard and spun a rod bearing. I new I needed oil cooling, but this just gives me a reason to build a low compression 3.2L motor and up the boost

I've thought about headers as they're pretty cheap, but then there's a trade-off of some added noise. Brakes and suspension may be upgraded for the fact I like a car that can stop and handle well. I'm not looking to do any of this as soon as I get the car, but it's in the back of my mind. The lack of power may keep me out of trouble too

I'm sure I'll have many vehicle specific questions in the near future, but are there any good Civic sites for this?

Thanks!

I have a change in plans... I was supposed to go pick up my Civic in two weeks, now it looks like I'm leaving on Sunday to go get it! I'm very excited. To be honest, I never thought I'd be so excited about a Civic. When priorities and times change, so do I, I guess.

You're right, I've already got a stereo to put in it and some Hawk HPS brake pads. That's it... It's a Civic with 24,000 miles and I dont' want to touch the thing. Plus, I've already got a car money just sinks into.
