My previous statment, I know this guy hit a tree...I'm pretty sure that he did lose control as he hit it. he prolly lost control
(from the looks of the wreck) about 75 ft, before he met the tree...I understand that there are medics and all that waiting for things to happen, hell there were medics waiting for Dale Earnhardt when he hit the wall. I'm just saying that an unexperience driver with a fast car racing at the track CAN be as dangerous as racing on the street.

 

yes, that's true, but when you race on the track, you're basically signing a contract that yours and the other drivers lifes are all at risk, but on the street, not everyone is willing to make that agreement.

 

crashes happen all the time in nascar, hell thats half the reason ppl watch it....but look how many ppl walk away just fine. Dale Earnhardts crash was just bad luck. they go around a closed track where conditions keep innocent ppl out of harms way and the drivers have to pass very very strict rules for saftey with the seats, helmets, cages, flame retardant clothes, etc...they have medical teams ready and waiting for any kinda accident and can get u medical attention and to a hospital faster than anywhere else. im not sure of the extent of Earnhardts crash and all that but its not surprising when they do hundreds of laps at 150+mph..i kno i'd much rather crash at a track than anywhere else. like ej6 said, they know what their getting themselves into and everyone that chooses to drive recklessly out on the open roads knows it aswell.
