will they fit?
a friend of mine took his black 16 inch rims with tires off his corolla, and is going to sell them to me for a good price. Now i have no idea how to figure out if they will fit on my 97' Civic DX. Here are the dimensions:
Rims: 16 inch Tires: 205/40R/16 Can you help me out and explain to me how i figure out what tires will fit? I currently have 15in stock rims on my car if that helps. |
RE: will they fit?
What year is his Corolla, and do you know the bolt pattern?
|
RE: will they fit?
that tire size is ok (not perfect but close enough)
depends on the bolt patterns and offset |
RE: will they fit?
there are four lugs. is that the bolt pattern?
|
RE: will they fit?
If they are 4 bolt then they are 4x100. same as the civic, the only thing you would have to find out if the offset of the wheel
|
RE: will they fit?
They should fit, so long as the offset isn't something crazy... I don't think it would be. Also, just as a side note, your speedo will be off by 4.5%, so when it says you're going 60, you're actually going 62.7mph

RE: will they fit?
thanks for all the help guys. Im going to try to install them tomorrow, how do i find out about the offset?
