Airbags on 6th gen Civic

Do airbags have any expiry date?
I wanna buy a 6th gen Civic but quite concerned if the airbags
would still be deploying on old cars.

The airbags should still be working, I had slight doubts about mine not working cuz my brother hit a truck before and nothing happened.....til a year later when a truck hit me!! Worked TOO well, still feel the pain from it to this day. So answer no, don't expire:D.

Every time you start the car, the computer checks the airbags. If the airbag light stays on then it might not work in a crash
