Do airbags have any expiry date?
I wanna buy a 6th gen Civic but quite concerned if the airbags
would still be deploying on old cars.

 

The airbags should still be working, I had slight doubts about mine not working cuz my brother hit a truck before and nothing happened.....til a year later when a truck hit me!! Worked TOO well, still feel the pain from it to this day. So answer no, don't expire.

 

Every time you start the car, the computer checks the airbags. If the airbag light stays on then it might not work in a crash
