RE: Cold Air Intake
Yes, it will work on an automatic, and it'll let your engine "breathe" a lot easier.

RE: Cold Air Intake
not to mention the added 5-8 hp and increced gas milage...and we all know how much everyone wants better gas milage

RE: Cold Air Intake
I don't know about 5-8 HP........I would think more like 2-4 HP on a Civic. But it'll definitely be easier on your engine. Next you should upgrade your exhaust since your engine will be able to suck in more air, your exhaust should be 2.25" to let that added air out.

RE: Cold Air Intake
I'm tempted to get the AEM CAI V2 but I live in New York. In the summer it's great but when the rain falls, I'm worried water will get in the engine.
Is it easy to uninstall the CAI or should I get the water by pass valve to solve this issues? |
RE: Cold Air Intake
if your worried about water get a bypass valve or a water proof filter cover
|
RE: Cold Air Intake
a water proof filter cover? umm. wouldnt that stop air from going in too?
