Default 01 civic stock stereo removal, help needed

My CD player quit in my 01 EX, I ordered a used replacement - will I have to worry about re-programming? I could also use some direction in removing the Stereo as well as the rear speakers. Thanks, Ed

The rear speaks...you need to pull the back seat, rear quarters, and then the rear deck in a "******, and grab" PULL.....

it is real ez. the back speakers are a HUGE pain to get to. The trim is hard to remove and so is the deck it is a huge pain and you have to be careful not to break anything or loose clips. for the stereo you have to take out the little cubby hole / sig lighter molding by pulling it then disconnecting it. then there are two 8mm bolts under the stereo. they pry the whole ac/stereo molding out with a small screwdriver. there are a few bolts holding the stereo in. I believe 1 or 2 are tight and you might need a 90 degree screwdriver and or a set of plires and a screwdriver head. It is pretty easy.
