Default '02 - Replacing Door Speakers, Keeping Tweaters?

My '02 Civic LX 2dr has factory tweaters (I just bought the car and I'm assuming they're factory anyway). I've got a pair of Boston Acoustics 6.5" speakers I'd like to move over from my old car. I really like the factory tweaters and would like to keep them working.

Is it possible to wire the new speakers in with the factory tweaters? Is there a crossover for the tweaters? Is it separate from the factory speakers?

Check to see if there is a capacitor on the tweeters. If there isn't one, you can always add one. I think a 47uF 100V Bi-polar capacitor should do the trick http://www.partsexpress.com/pe/showd...number=027-352.

Of course if you are adding a lot more power, all bets are off for protecting those factory tweeters.
