is there a differnec in the sound the subs put out if u have 1 or 2 subs?

It all depends on the type of power your going to give 1 or 2 subs.

If you have a high power amp (1500+watts) pushing 2 subs, then it sounds good.
But if you have a weak amplifier pushing 2 subs, then it sounds wack.

ok but if i have the right amp matched to the 1 or 2 subs is there gunna b much of a difference, like with my old subs 2 of them 2 channel amp perfect wattage match the kick came out one sub and the bass came out the other...will them both coming out one sub sound as good

Twice the resonating mass on the same power = +3db.

With the quality of subs and amplifiers they have out these days, you can thump with one, but if you have the space and are willing to add the extra weight, twowill be louder.

Oohh, Those sound beautiful. My uncle had a pair of those on a box, and he had a 600watt Xplod amp pushing them.
Sounded great.

well a 600 watt xplode amp is what...150rms or less right..so 200 will be fine even tho they are 350 rms

what would u gys do for subs and amp if u watend to spend around 350-400 for the subs and amp and build your own box...so don't count the expense of the box
