I haven't measured but I would imagine I could put 2 15s sealed in my Civic. What 12s did you replace? Audiobahn subs aren't very great...to say the least.

Well, really all that matters is if you like it.

But have you ever heard a real set-up with nice equipment?

well ive ran audiobahn for quite a while... they are decent BUT cannt take abuse to well at all
so just be sure ya gset your amplifier settings properly!

but with fiting in the sub... its very doable.... just have to buy a special box for it to fit or MAKE YOUR OWN...

i was gonna fit 2 15s in my civic BUT for my typical ported box i couldnt fit them and the port firing in thru the rear seat.LMFAO

but i just got a preaty good 12inch sub right now... its enough for now... tho i will upgrade that sub to a beter model sub with alot more power... BUT that might be awhile

my friend has 2 15's in his ford taurus, and someone said the bass just kills u....

not realy..... why dont ya think that many people use them? cause they suck...... find some legal DB scores from them... and im not talken about the BS pimp my ride.. THATS LOUD. light.LMFAO

most SPL monsters are either packed with 12s or 15s and some 18s from time to time...

if ya want good bass just read up.... cause the subwoofer and amplifier is only 2/3rds the potential.... the output all depends on the subwoofer box!!!! if its to small or to large... or flexs or not sealed properly... thier goes your bass potential!

personaly... i like little companies that are still cheap and personal... but still make some killer equipment! like FIaudio.... used to be REaudio till they sold out to MMats and thier prices went up and thier goes your personal contact

Jackhammers don't worth a damn. And MTX installers are garbage. I seen a EXT at SBN with 2 Jackhammers. You could smell him buring up the voice coil from 5 feet away. Then he procedes to say he can onyl play it every 2 hours because of the electrical( he said like 15,000 watts) and like 10 300 amp alts. This when I knew they were BSin, first off Meade is running 20k with 2 300amps and plays it non-stop with ease.

I knew dude was burning the **** out of the subs and called himn out n he didn't have any anwser for it lol. Anyways it was probally barley 150dB.

They want 7500?

I could blow one out of the water for less than ~1500 .

i didn't think a 15" would fit in the spare tire area!! is there enough air space in the box?would you have to raise your floor?? i'm interested in this, imo... that looks real clean mounted in the floor!! i was gonna dofour 12" insignia subs withtwo 360 watt insignia amps, would be one hell of a tight squeeze but i'd make them fit!!.... i know they are cheap, but i already havetwoof them onthe 360 amp and they fukn' pound hard!!

dyi on in the floor box building!
