Default 2 Way Problem

I have a Viper 2 way command start/alarm combo on my 2000 civic cx hatch. It came with the car. Anyway, my passenger door seems to not be opening while the car is running. I have to shut the car off, then unlock it. Why is this? I'm guessing it's a problem involving the 2 way remote starter because it the CX models dont have power locks, but with the Viper it can open. Any suggestions? Thanks all.

does your car have automatic door locks... if not then there may not be an actuator in the pass door or it may be bad

Ok, so does the actuator make it so that you cannot unlock the passenger side door while the car is running? My car locks itself when it's started.

it has ignition lock and unlock on.... its a feature that can be turned off in the features menu on your alarm... tell me the model # and i'll tell you how to turn it off.... you'll need to use your valet button since you probally dont have acsess to a BITWRITER....

It is a Viper 479V/P/X
it's FCC ID: EZSDEI478

I tried looking for the vallet switch but it's all too confusing :P
