I just looked on the bestbuy.com website and went through the process. There was a specialty fit speaker 6x8 (confusing me). I even called the dealership and they couldn't tell me the sizes. I want to know whats the sizes of the back speakers before I buy them. I'm also having then dealership install them to stay under the warrenty.

Aftermarket speakers will not be covered by the new car warranty no matter who installs them. However no matter who installs them the warranty on the rest of the car is still in force. Only if the installer or the speakers damage some other part of the car will that not be covered by the warranty. For example if you keep the stock head unit and/or amplifiers driving those speakers and it quits, they will probably blame your speakers even if the Honda dealer did install them.

That's assuming your dealer is willing to install the speakers in the first place. They're likely to refuse to install anything other than OEM parts that you buy from them.

I also have a new 4 dr Si and am looking at diff speakers. I read that 6.5" are all around with an 8" subwoffer. What brand/model speakers do you suggest to replace the factory 6.5" speakers. Will it improve the sound? The stock stereo is 350 watts total with premium speakers. Are the factory speakers efficient? Replacing them with aftermarket speakers might improve the bass and treble, but might not get as loud. Don't want to add amps, just improve the bass and treble.

Any suggestions are appreciated! Jeff 07 Si sedan

Ok, so my plan is to replace the 4 6.5 speakers, 8 in sub and add a 600w amp. Where is the amp located and what brands should i look at for speakers, sub, and amp. I usually like infinity.
