I need some help here!

Ok so I drive over to a friend's house last night and my CD player is playing with no problems. I wind up leaving a few hours later and as I turn my stereo on I see the track number but no sound. The screen then blinks and reads "Busy Please Wait" followed by "Bad Disc" and the cd is ejected. I tried a few more cd's and got the same mesg followed by Check Owner's Manual.

Is this something I can fix on my own without going to a dealer? Can I pull the fuse?
