Yeah, I'd say that that amp will blow up and take the back half of your car with it. Anything that's that powerfull that isn't total garbage is going to run you $3,000 - $5,000+. Case and point.

Also, punctuation and spelling are your friend.

Little do most people know... they have never heard more than 500 watts. Just an FYI.

just tell them its small. in all actuality it might push 1000rms(might) unless if you spent 5g's on an amp. which is not practical due to the trunk room in a civic.

Very true. Personally I have a decent sub/amp combo. I got the infinity kappa vq pefect with the fosgate BD1000.1 class D amp, but i rarely crank it. Id get another sub if I wanted to hear real bass. People think a ROCKWOOD 3000 watt amp will hold up, but take a 500 watt zapco amp and it will whomp it. People think the more power the better, but thats not the case @ all.

Throw it out. That amp is going to fry your alternator, and rob tons of power off of the crank. Thats what i call "fleamarket car-audio", they use so much power from the car, and make nothing. Theyre very inefficient.

Zapco is the god of high power comp amps. They are the only peice of elctronic equipment that gains value that I know of.

However, like its name... you better have a juicy batt/alt set up
