lol, an audio showdown on the interweb?

Come now...

Just saying, saying your sub is a 1600 watt sub when it is really a 400 watt sub isnt cool, like saying you have a BOSS or Pyle 3000 watt amp, it's just false marketing.

What did you hit with that SPL system? Cause I'v seen 165db systems not crack windshields, so might want to get better glass for your car.

bobbytonic get a clue. The amp is a Rockford Fosgate BD1500.1 It came with a certificate sayin it is highly underrated. You have NO idea what 165 decibles sounds like. And hey pal, my amps gain is set at 50%.......you can turn the dial all the way, or however you want. Mine is set at half-way. Granted the subs peak power is 1600, it slams and is clear as can be. You wanna be a tough guy and have a sound off? Ill go buy 3 more subs, and build a box. Ill bridge my 2 BD1500.1 amps together, run the 4 subs at 2 ohms (Dual 4 ohm subs).......and we can compete.......SQ or SPL.......i will pwn you, so relax my man.

dude breathe....relax...

I do know what 165db sounds like, actually I know what 175 sounds like, thankfully not from inside the van. But I went to dbdrag world finals last year, and I heard the RE van at a local comp. this summer. Very loud indeed. I'm not saying you setup isn't loud, or doesn't sound good. Infinity makes great equipment. But saying you cracked your front windshield, unless it already had a chip or was cracked, is total BS. I'v witness glass flex 4" and not break or even crack. The truck I saw with a wall with 4 RE MT 15" and 10,000 watts and was knocking 163db had a stock windshield, nothing. So forgive me for calling BS on something that defies physics. And if you want to have a sound off, I'll go buy 3 more of my sub and 3 more xenon 1200.1s, and I'll "pwn" you in SPL and SQ, but that would be a little unfair.

yea your right, my windshield didnt crack. I wasnt mad cuz i had to replace it. Im lying to make myself seem cool. Oh so you get 4 amps? Thats fair.?! 4 fosgate 1500BDs would be about 7500 pure watts. Run em at 14.7 volts and well.......foget about it. This convo is pointless. I have no need for more than 1 sub. Maybe ill take that out, i mean seriously, who needs a system when you have a bov.

lol and I'll save up a ton of money and buy an old ghetto car and put one serious sound system in it. How about like 15 of those subs and a trailer full of high end Fosgate or JBL amps? (the $6000 dollar ones with a ton of RMS watts, I forgot the rating)? a $h!t load of speakers and a couple of generators on that trailer.... lol jk

lol, someone who wants to hear something other then pssshhhh. Fine, I'll use two xenon 1200.1 which have been underrated to be around 1400 watts, with 4 of my subs. One of them hit 142, so who knows what I could do with 4 ported ones.

Even with just my intake I usually either don't listen to my stereo or I just keep it quiet. I let it pump on the highway though.
