The easiest way out is do what I did, which is the buy an aftermarket stereo that has an input on it.

There are also stereos which sync with your ipod so you can control your ipod with the stereo.

^ditto, I suggest Alpine's line of aftermarket cd players. They have very nice docking head units. Just swing by a Best Buy, Circuit City, or Car Audio store and ask ask ask.

dash kit for aftermarket radios on 06+ civics looks like poo, i am asumming u have an lx or dx model as the ex and the si both come standard with an aux imput on the stereo, your most cosmetically appealing option is to locate a factory radio that comes with aux input, you could put the radio in (only good one i have ever seen is if you put a double din screen in and use the factory honda dash kit) but any single din unit looks horrible, or they make universal fm modulators that install inline with your cars antennea and broadcast crystal clear quality, downside of that is that a switch has to be mounted that toggles between the modulated device or standard radio stations (- http://www.circuitcity.com/ssm/Audio...oductDetail.do -)

and you will also need both of those so you would set yourself back about 85-90 on parts. i have done this set up numerous times at work and people love them, only hard part is finding a sutible spot to mount the switch, best of luck!

Yes single din is small, and double din is a big spot in the dash.

Lol...actually did this on a 04 Accord today, very easy.

Look into Peripherals AUX factory add-ons. On the Accord there was a plug on the bottom side of the radio and you jsut plug it in and run the wire where you want it.

Would'nt all stereos have it, just for ease of production? I know Caddys are like that.

it would make sense but in the civics only the premium system has the factory aux input option and i dont even think that a cd changer is an option on the new civics with mp3 cd player on the premium and the aux input, changers are a thing of the past.
