Hey dude I went to brandsmart and circuit city to check out some alarms. Brandsmart has a two way alarm( with kill switch and other things) that according to the guy I asked "includes install", for 250+taxes. Dont remember want brand it was though. Ill go check it out again when I have the money to buy one. They also had another alarm that was very expensive. It was like a 2way alarm with an engine starter (i think that is what its called) and some other stuff. kill switch...etc...

Pay the extra for a viper responder. my brother is install manager at Audio Express and thats all we use. also, get the back-up battery, it will let the alarm work even if someone cuts the battery cable. the responder remote tells you why its going off, whether its door trigger, hood pin, trunk, or shock sensor. also, ive seen some of the cheaper models, and they are mostly crap. Clifford has a version thats pretty good, but id stick with one of those 2.

viper responder is that the name of the alarm or is it something to add to your alarm?

the Responder is Vipers version of a two way pager. the remote has a pager built in. you can add it to some Viper alarms if you already have one, but not very many. they are very much worth the extra money.

since you have an auto tranny, you can get the remote start. w/o the remote start, dont pay over 400 bucks installed. with it, dont pay over 500 installed. id go with the remote start. my wifes car has it and its so nice to start it as you walk out to your car on a hot day and have it cooled down by the time you get there, and have the heater warmed up on cold days.
