Default alpine rears

i finally got around to buying my alpine type r rear speakers. i still havent got the front ones installed and i guess i still gotta wait about 2 weeks for the rears to come in. i got them for $89 shipped. i paid $140 for the front speakers and it came with tweeters and 2 crossovers. i hope i didnt waste my $230 + whatever i gotta pay for installation. next is the subs, box, amp, and whatever else i gotta buy. ( wires for ALL ) and from what i hear these speakers will make a huge difference compared to the stock little paper p o s ones!

You should install them yourself and save your money. It is EXTREMLY easy to install speakers in hondas. But it is a little time consuming.

How would they big to big? All you gotta do it pop off the grille and pop in the new speakers.

Yeah unless you got like 8" front speakers there should be no problem installing them. Just pop off that door panel and plop those babies in.

Installing front speakers in civics is actually very simple. All you have to do is cut the excess plastic from inside the hole. The tweeters are also very simple. You can hook the input of the crossovers to the wiring going to the factory 6 1/2". It is usually full range (the factroy tweeters, if equipped, have their crossovers built in at the tweeter)
