Thats cool. Which company makes that GTi sub?

JBL... just like you asked.
God im a freaking idiot, cant even remember the questions i asked. Thanks Remmy im going to check out some subs and amps soon.

Edit: Ok Remmy i looked at those GTi's and 3000 watt max with a 600 rms is a little too much for me and its priced like at 500 bucks. I can get two Alpine tyre-r 12's for like 250 and like i said there 1500 max with 500 rms. How about that Remmy?

oh, well then get infinity kappas or perfects. I would take a Harmon Audio sub over Alpine... but thats my opinion.

Thanks Remmy ill look at those Infinity subs later today. For those Alpine type-r's do you think a 2-channel RF 1500 max with a 500rms x 1 @ 4ohms bridged would be a good combo? Sorry for all the noobish questions ive been out of the system thing for a long time.

Yes it will be just fine. A 300 watt amp brought into 2 ohms will also sound damn good. Just remember, its not really the wattage that says about an amp. Its basically the brand and how much money it runs for.

for example, a cheap '1000 watt' amp for $100 will get schooled left and right by a $250 200watt amp... no kidding.

Type R's are killer for what you can get them for on ebay. I sat and watched a guy try and blow a type r 10 with around 1200rms and he could not do it.
