regardless of what you set-up is, a capacitor is a complete waste of money, for just a bit more (price of an alternater) over the price of a "good" cap, you can not only do exactly what a cap would do, but you also give your self room for upgrade in the future. Make sure you research on an alt though, make sure it produces enough power at low rpm's. If you have any other questions or anbody else tell you that you should get a cap and downs my oppinion (cough cough the FACT cough cough) then pm me or post here and ill come back by it.

dito.... if your runnen around 1K watts you might be fine with a simple BIG 3 UPGRADE......
tho it wont do very good at stop light beating.... BUT while moving the motor should be puting out enough power for ya...
first thing i would advise is a digital voltage display... that way you can keep track of your voltage.... cause the factory dumby light on mine either doesnt work.LOL its never came on!!!!!!!

but the easiest cheapest upgrade is the ground wires and it helps the most! cause power needs a power and ground to transfere power....

upgradea few wires under the hood and it should help out TONS...
now i dont know if thiers a 3rd ground so anybody that knows... feel free to chime in where its at if thier is! LOL

of course the obvious is the batteries ground wire thats realy short and goes to the body... then thiers the ground that goes from the front of the motors radiator support to the pulley bracket and if ya can upgrade the alternators charging wire....
i havent done mine yet cause im waiting till i upgrade the alternator...

but i got my wires for thestereos ran right to the amplifier! both power and ground 1/0gauge cabling.....
the way i seee it... do it big the first time and never worry about having to upgrade it again.LOL

thats the display i use.. tho i pulled it when i instaled my double din unit... i had mine cut into the back of my under radio pocket...
i havent decided where i want to put it now tho.... not sure if i want it way back in the lower cup holder pocket towards the back or just slap it on the dash.. around the steering colum... tho ive downgraded my amp to only 600watts at this time so i dont realy need ti quite yet...
