Default AMP Installation, how do I run RCA's under interior?

anyone got a link to a guide (with pics if possible) on how to run 2 RCA's from the back of the deck to the trunk of the car all under the interior? also maybe some info on putting power cable through the firewall all the way to the trunk also under the interior. I already found a guide to replace deck and I just need this info

This is for a 1999 CIVIC Si

its pretty straight forward.. u just pull out the seats and trim .. for rca's run them down the passenger side right along the bottom side trim.. then pop your rear side panels or just tuck them up under the side.. then have them hang out just behind the rear seat.. power wire pick one of those little black gromets you see behind your brake cylinder that are close to the middle of the fire wall on drivers side .. and poke a hole through.. pull carpet on the inside so you can see the wire once you run it through.. once its inside just run it down the trim inside the wire pack that runs to the trunk for everything else..

i just took out my ceneter concil and ran thm through tht and thn under to carpet from the E-brake to the back seats. i did tht for power and RCA cables. to me thts the easiest way to do it. srry i dont have pics but its reli straight forward so there shouldnt b much problems.

and to get the wires through the firewall i had about a 1 inch hole already in the firewall tht the cagle for the hood release was going through. its on the drivers side and i gave myself enough slack to tuck the cable under the carpet BEHIND the pedals. i never have any problems. ill get pics if ur intrested in my way.

for my power i can them thru another wire gromet thats already used right under the battery tray.....
to run the wire to the drivers side not only takes MORE wire.... it also shows a ugly wire hangen thru the engine bay

tho for my new dual 1/0 gauge wires i just ran them under the car and drilled a hole thru the undercarrage up under the back seat and into the trunk

as long as its fused and tied up outta the way thiers no problem runing it that way!
any larger than 4gauge tends to be very visable under the carpet.LOL
only thing im waiting on now is some new battery terminals. only downfal is i havent bought them yet.LOL

Well guys I did it all by myself. It took me from 6pm Saturday to 3am Sunday straight!. I just unscrewed the moulding around the E-brake, Unscrewed the moulding around the shifter, Unscrewed the moulding under the steering wheel. I had to unscrew the moulding under the steering wheel because there are 2 hidden screws under it from the left side of the deck/climate control console and the screws on the right of the console are exposed when you open your glove conpartment. After I removed the mouldings I took out the driver seat which was only held down by 4 nuts; this gave me alot of room to work with. I then proceeded to look under and up where the gas/brake pedals are and you can see behind the deck. I decided not to change the deck as i had planned before so I just unhooked the wiring plug from behind the deck and pulled it down so i would work with it. I then took RCA RED WHITE connectors, stripped the wires, then proceeded to splice them in with the Rear left and Rear right speaker connections. I also found the power attena wire and spliced that in too. (I forgot the wiring colors SORRY, Look online like I did, the attena wire was RED/YELLOW Im pretty sure). I then when under the hood and connected the power wire and then run it right to to where my steering wheel is. I then pulled out this big black Gromet plug exposing the fireway(looks like fibreboard) and drilled a hole through (its very flimy, I actually just pushed a screwdriver through lol. I then ran the power wire through the gromet and the fire wall and then from inside the car you can see the wire coming out from the driverside area where the gas/brake pedals are. Running these wires under the carpet was pretty easy too. Using a coat hanger I was able to run the wires beside the shifter and e-brake area and then run it under the carpeting (When you take out the driver side seat you will see holes in the carpet which REALLY help in pulling the wire along). I then pulled up on the backseat cushions and it just pops up because its only clipped down. I then ran the wire under the cushions and then unlocked the backseat passage to the trunk and ran the wire from the bottom of the sitting cushion to the corner of the back cushion (stuffing the wires in the crack between the cushions to hide them. I then plugged back the wires into the back of the deck and put everything back togetheir, the end!

- This is for a 1999 Honda Civic

- Make sure you unhook the Negative from your car when WORKING!!!

why did you splice into the wires with RCAs?????????

you should never do that! AND YOU SHOULD NEVER CUT THE FACTORY WIRING......

Dude. You went WAYYYYY out of your way to do that. And to let you know, your amp wont work while the cd player is running considering you did this to the pwoer antenna.

It would have only taken you an hour and a half to do the amp install. Im sorry I didnt catch this post in time. But you also cut into your factory wire which is a big no no.

You also could have simply run the wires under the door sills and not the center console. It woul have been uber easier and same clean effect.

Well this was the poor mans installion without having to change decks. As for the RCA's they are uncut and prefectly leading to the trunk. What I did is took a short ordinary RCA (RED WHITE) cable , plugged it into the LONG RCA under the carpet leading to the trunk , cut off 1 end, and Spliced the positive and negatives to the rear left and right sterios accordingly. I have been using my system for a week now and works perfect without a hitch (my amp has a built in Low pass filter as most new amps have so it cool). And if I do ever decide to install a new deck the RCA's will be perfectly uncut and ready to plug in as all I would need to do is pull off the "poor mans RCA to Stereo Convertor" I made . The CD player also works flawlessly with my system. The power antenna Just tells the DECK and AMP when the car is turned on at the ignition so the amp wont always stay on and will only turn on when the deck is on. Well theres info from my experience

Notes:
- RCA'S are exactly stereos (Positive and Negative Inside Each Left and Right Cable) but with more clean headers
- The Power Antenna is basically A Signal Antenna that Sends out a Signal when the keys are in the Ignition. This Leads to your
Deck So it only turns on when your car is on and when you install an AMP you also have to run the Power Antenna to the back
