Default Amp question w/ already installed basslink

Hey guys I currently have the 200w infinity basslink installed, but I am now loookin to put in a simple 2channel amp for my front speakers. I just have a question about installation,
Do I just get an amp kit and run the power cables along with the already installed ones? is that fine for my battery?

As for an amp, anyone have experience with-

Lightning audio
pyramid

Thanks!

Upon doing more research I could use a distribution block right? I am currently running 8 gauge wire and from what ive read that's good for up to a 60 rated fuse. My basslink uses a 20 and another amp would use 25. So I could still use the same wire???

I would say that it would be just fine that way...just keep in mind that if you ever wanna upgrade for more power you'll need a new power wire. But for what you are running I'd say go for the dist. block.

*Edit: Just make sure the fuse on the power wire up at the battery meets/exceeds the fuses at the other end...otherwise you'll be popping that fuse all day long.

you dont even need the block, you just wire the other amp into the existing one, though a block is neater
