Default TWIN BASSLINK II'S?!?

I currently have one basslink II providing my system with nice, smooth bass but now I'm wondering if running two would sound even better (and look cool too). I want a little more bass out of my system and am more than pleased with my basslink. I was just wondering what everyone thinks about this idea and if anyone had done it or heard about it, what their thoughts are. Also, as far as installation goes, would i be able to just splice all the wires for the new basslink in with all the ones from my first one...the ones that run to the HU and power anyway?

Yeah, that'd work out good.

The only wire you'd need to either redo or run another one would be the positive lead from the battery, you don't want to run too much current through that thing. Also a seperate chassis ground would be good. The signal wires could be spliced though, the Basslink shouldn't put any load on them.

Keep us posted on progress.

thanks for the advice amg...i'm not planning to do this very soon, just trying to get input before i make any decisions. The other thing i was wondering is if it would be better to add the basslink 4sc amp module (which you actually commented on in another thread amd) to my system or to get new door speakers first. It would end up being around the same price but i want to know which would produce the greatest gain in sound quality. Thanks again

That would be fun to see... one on each side.

I assume that you have an aftermarket head unit, so I'll recoment getting speakers first, then the 4sc later. To bad the 4sc isn't bridgable or you could get two and bridge them each to run your front and rear speakers with some real power.

At least I don't think you can bridge it. I'll check on it sometime.

Yeah, speakers are good, the 4sc I don't think has too much more power than most aftermarket head units so I think that just speakers will do just fine.

What brand and model head unit do you have?

so you think it's not even worth it to get the 4sc if i get new speakers? my HU is a panasonic, similar to this one panasonic HU. I'm going to threadjack myself and ask another quick question...as far as new speakers, should i go with the infinity references or spend the extra $40 on the kappas? i really want to stay with infinity, everyone seems to love them.
