Anyone checked for your civics loudest SPL note ?
im curious....99civic but id think most civics from about mid 90s up to 2000 would be the same if not REALY CLOSE.
2door coupe also.
id like to build a pure SPL box well realy spl port for my 12inch sub for comps.
just not sure which Hz note would be the loudest tone for these civics?
ill just be using my box and swaping out the 4inch aero ports for the high tuned ones for comps...
and unfortunatly i have no access to any kinda mics for my own testing....

i went in a SPL comp last year in my old box and hit a 138, not very loud for a comp..but i pretty much just wanted to get it tested..its good enoph for me, everyone hit a couple more then me ,some lower..the highest was like 145 that day but they were also running 1000W amp
well i mean what note did ya use to get your highest score?
i know my truck peaked at about 42-45hz never fully tweaked it down cause not enough mic time at the comp i went to. i didnt do to good cause it was a truck without a blow thru.
but it was loud enough to make it hard to swallow.LMFAO
right now im runnen half the power and only a single 12 rather than 2 15s but same model subs.... eventualy i wanna get another amp and another sub for dual setup BUT before i can do that i have to beef up the electrical system BIG TIME!
i know i probably wont do realy good BUT id realy like to know what she is hiting legaly! new termlab mic. real DB drag cause these little comps are either never close enough or when i can go they have these old mics so ya realy cannt be sure on the DB level! tho it is funny to see what your hiting on these old mics that are realy loose and it looks like ya throw up a high number.LOL
and always hate it when i try looken at sounddomain at thier SPL level and its never proven so thiers always these retards that put in thier what they want! even if they are still runnen 100%stock!

I was hitting mid 140's(around 144) with 1 12 and 1200wrms in my 98 sedan with a box tuned to 38hz but peaking at 45ish hz. I was right at 138 at 32hz which if you done know is f**king loud that low, I could turn my head the wrong way with it like that and it would make me light headed.
I hit at 142 in my civic, but I just ran it to see what it would do, sounds like you guys are really serious. I just play what ever sounds loudest from my driving around town.
