What's up, guys? Long time no talk. I almost pulled the trigger on another Civic (crx) last month but couldn't do it. I'll get back on here eventually with another Civic, but for now I'm rockin my Lexus IS300. Not much done to it engine-wise yet because I have been into car audio lately. Won a few trophies with it so far and doing 150 from the trunk. But anyway...

I just wanted to stop by and ask if you guys know that Civics are the new thing in SPL competitions. You guys probably know that CRX's are the loudest stock vehicles on the planet (160db in 0-600w class), but USACi started a trunk class last year and the 0-1kw trunk world record was just set in an 8th gen with a score of 154.3db and one of my personal friends is doing 155's in a 4 door 6th gen with a pair of 15's.

I did a 142.3 on termlab at the kick windows down, with 4 12's and a modded Rockford Fosgate 1500bd. Car was on with stock alt, battery. It was a 95 coupe. Honestly not a fan of SPL (sq guy), but definitely respect it. Lots of time love and money spent getting everything just right....same as SQ.

sq here the last season i was in it i placed 4th in worlds plan on getting back in next season been building car up

 

4th in worlds? what season? thats cool. Im into car audio a tad, by tad i mean quite a bit. I dont compete anymore, just help out and play with my own stuff. I do some things for DC Soundlab and Audiopipe. Its all good fun. Ill post up some pics of a few set ups a little later...

 

lets see it was when worlds were held in st louis its been a couple years.... i am ready to get back into it only thing that sucks no factory support at all......

 

I agree ^^^^ Im having some issues loading pics on this computer, Ill see if i can get some pics up of the old set ups, currently building a wall for the new DC 18s. Pretty excited about them....
